Profil Group

Profil Group: Profil (Profile) was an inexpensively produced periodical published by a group of literature students at the University of Oslo between 1966 and the early 1970s. At first this group of young writers favored modernism, but a number of them turned away from middle-class aesthetics altogether and adopted a Marxist perspective on literature, finding their ideals in Mao Zedong's China.
